Originally released in 2009, xx is the Mercury Prize-winning debut album from London's The xx. Built around sparse guitar lines, deep bass, understated electronic production and the intimate vocals of Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim, the album established a distinctive sound that would go on to influence a generation of indie and electronic artists.
Featuring defining tracks including Intro, VCR, Crystalised, Islands and Heart Skipped A Beat, xx balances restraint and atmosphere with an unmistakably late-night mood. This 2026 vinyl edition presents the album's original twelve-track sequence, including Hot Like Fire.
