Originally released in 1965, Rubber Soul is the Beatles' sixth studio album and a pivotal moment in the band's evolution. Moving beyond their earlier pop sound, the album embraces acoustic textures, folk influences, sophisticated songwriting and experimental touches, from the sitar-led Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) to the intimate In My Life and driving opener Drive My Car.
This Special Edition Deluxe 2LP features a new stereo mix by Giles Martin and Sam Okell alongside a second LP of demos, alternate takes and session highlights, including Day Tripper and We Can Work It Out. Half-speed mastered and pressed on 180g heavyweight black vinyl, the 2026 edition is housed in a gatefold sleeve with a four-page insert.
