Originally released in 1988, Ultramega OK marked Soundgarden's first full-length album and helped lay the foundations for the Seattle grunge movement. Blending heavy metal, punk and psychedelic rock with Chris Cornell's extraordinary vocal range, the album showcased a band already pushing beyond the conventions of hard rock.
