Originally released in 2023, Bewitched is the second studio album from Icelandic-Chinese singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Laufey. Drawing on jazz, classical music, bossa nova and contemporary pop, the album combines intimate songwriting with lush arrangements and Laufey's distinctive jazz-influenced vocals. Tracks including From The Start, Promise, Lovesick and the title track helped establish her as one of the defining new voices bringing jazz-inspired music to a younger audience.
This Goddess Edition was released in 2024 as a limited 2LP pressing on dark blue vinyl, expanding the original album with four bonus tracks: Bored, Trouble, It Could Happen To You and Goddess. The 45RPM edition also includes an updated booklet and custom board game, with the expanded 18-track sequence offering a fuller portrait of Laufey's romantic, nostalgic and deeply melodic songwriting.
