Released in 2017, The OOZ is the third studio album from South London singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Archy Marshall, better known as King Krule. Following 6 Feet Beneath The Moon, the sprawling album pushes his murky blend of post-punk, jazz, trip hop, dub and hip hop into darker and more atmospheric territory. Marshall's deep vocals, loose guitar work and restless arrangements create a surreal portrait of South London, filled with isolation, relationships and late-night introspection.
This 2LP black vinyl edition is housed in a gatefold sleeve and features the complete 19-track sequence across two records. Released on 13 October 2017 through XL Recordings and True Panther Sounds, the album includes Biscuit Town, Dum Surfer, Czech One, Half Man Half Shark and the title track, capturing King Krule at his most expansive, experimental and uncompromising.
