Originally released in 2018, Con Todo El Mundo is the second studio album from Texas trio Khruangbin. Built around Laura Lee's melodic basslines, Mark Speer's fluid guitar and Donald "DJ" Johnson's understated drumming, the album draws on psychedelic funk, soul, dub and global influences, with particular inspiration from the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
From the hypnotic groove of Lady And Man and Maria También to the expansive Evan Finds The Third Room and laid-back Friday Morning, the album is a masterclass in atmosphere and restraint. Con Todo El Mundo helped establish Khruangbin's distinctive sound as one that sits effortlessly between funk, psychedelia, soul and world music.
