Released in September 2026, Here Because Of Hope is the fourth studio album from London jazz collective Ezra Collective. Conceived across three movements, the album traces the movement of Black music and culture from Africa through the Caribbean and towards London, drawing on jazz, highlife, Afrobeat, reggae and soul. The result is an ambitious and deeply rhythmic record that finds the band expanding their sound without losing the spontaneity and joy at its core.
Featuring collaborations with Pa Salieu, Lila Iké, Leona Lewis and Libianca, the seventeen-track album moves between instrumental passages, vocal-led grooves and spoken interludes read by Letitia Wright. From Blow Your Trumpet and Only Love to All I Need and Most High, Here Because Of Hope is a vibrant celebration of musical heritage, connection and optimism.
