Released in 2020, how i'm feeling now is Charli XCX's fourth studio album and one of the most distinctive pop records to emerge from the COVID-19 lockdown period. Written, recorded and released in just 39 days, the album was created entirely in isolation, with fans invited to contribute ideas and feedback throughout the process. The result is an intimate yet futuristic record that combines hyperpop, electronic production and experimental pop with themes of loneliness, desire, anxiety and connection.
Produced with collaborators including A. G. Cook, BJ Burton, Danny L Harle and Dylan Brady, the album moves between euphoric club tracks and vulnerable, stripped-back moments. Featuring pink diamond, forever, claws, party 4 u and anthems, how i'm feeling now remains a defining release of Charli XCX's experimental pop era. This edition is pressed on clear vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.
