Star Scum City is the debut album from Australian indie techno-pop duo 2charm, the project of Cub Sport's Tim Nelson and Sam Netterfield. Blending hyperpop, trance, indie-house, techno and euphoric electronic pop, the album creates a neon-lit soundtrack to nightlife, desire and escape. With production from Ninajirachi and collaborations with 1tbsp, 2charm turn club music into something both euphoric and emotionally vulnerable.
Across nine tracks, Star Scum City moves between pulsing dancefloor energy and more wistful moments, taking listeners on a globe-trotting journey through cities, relationships and late-night encounters. From the infectious boyfriend to you will never be alone in barcelona and paris (to get you out my head), it's a playful, maximalist debut that combines high-energy production with surprisingly sincere songwriting.
